Awaken's plans for Cataclysm. Pretty simple. Awaken exists because of Cataclysm, and everything we're doing right now, we're doing as a preparation to that. So we'll still raid as much as we can basically.
As to the mmo-champion post. It has been know for quite a while that you'll have te beware of the mechanics of a fight, as opposed to just sit and dps, and Cataclysm is getting rid of a lot of noobs I believe.
Forum. Easier said than done. I believe a forum will bring some advantages, Xgamer has already suggested that to the officers, and my answer is "go for it". I don't mind having a forum, but I really don't want the extra work. It's trouble enough to end a raid and come do a blog post late at night, keeping a forum up to date, is another task I gladly dismiss.
Lol ofc I'm just kidding. As I said b4 I'm really enjoying raiding with portuguese folks and getting back to it since I don't have the time anymore to fit my schedule to a hardcore or semi-hardcore guild.
Anyways, what I meant on reading the post was not getting mechanics right... That should be pretty clear to everyone doing HMs atm in WotLK.
Thing is, we don't have high tiers and we have to take it easy and perfect mechanics. Mana pools will be tight and everything can turn to shit really fast.
I didn't know this guild existed to prep for Cataclysm, and my suggestion to open forum (yes it takes a lot of work imo) was to give guild members (me!) the chance to open threads where we could discuss stuff regarding raids and such.
We should get a forum.
ReplyDeleteI don't know which are Awaken's plans for Cataclysm but mmo-champion posted something really useful and must read today:
http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/795945-What-Wrath-players-need-to-know-to-not-suck-at-Cata!
I'm planning to play disc priest as main, and have the warrior as tank alt if needed.
Guildless/Paranormal raiding schedule no longer fits me, so I guess I'm stuck with you guys :)
Cheers
You're "stuck" with us? That's rude! LOL.
